CCE se certificó como Operador Económico Calificado

On Tuesday, September 27, 2017, the certification of Qualified Economic Operator (OEC) was delivered to the CCE company of Gabriel Celiá.

The ceremony was held in the facilities of the company and was attended by the National Director of Customs, Cr. Enrique Canon, the Coordinator of the OEC Program, Ing. Diego Casella and the Director of the company, Mr. Gabriel Celiá.

Ing. Diego Casella congratulated Gabriel Celiá for the achievement, and said that it is the result of an arduous process of audits that the company managed to overcome with great success.

He also thanked the company for receiving in its facilities the visit of the Customs Delegation of Peru, which was framed within the Joint Work Plan towards the signing of an MRA with that country.

In the second place Mr. Gabriel Celiá spoke, who stated that this certification represents a milestone in the continuous improvement of the company and it is an honor to receive it.

In turn, he thanked the DNA consultancy team and the company officials for the work invested to achieve this milestone.

Finally, Cr. Enrique Canon congratulated the company for the achievement obtained and announced that next December the National Customs Office will sign a Mutual Recognition Agreement with Peru.

For his part, he stressed that this type of agreement constitutes a platform that raises Uruguay’s foreign trade and makes it look favorably on international markets.

After the ceremony, the company held a toast to celebrate the recognition obtained.
